At the beginning of April I got to take Mary-Catherine and Tanner’s engagement pictures! I am not a professional AT ALL but it was so fun to have this experience!! We went to the capitol building! The blossoms were INCREDIBLE there! Here are a couple of pictures from that shoot!!
We all got together to open Blake’s Mission call which was so fun! It was cool to see most of Robin’s siblings all together (just missing Rhonda)! They were all doing their high school dance team cheers, which was super funny! hahaha
Mary-Catherine and Tanner were getting ready to move into their new apartment so my Mom packed up a trailer of some of her old furniture and made her way to Utah! She flew me down to dallas to meet her and drive up to Utah with her. We drove straight through the night and only stopped a couple times for food and bathroom breaks. We had so much fun just talking to each other and then calling other people, putting them on speaker phone and talking to them. hahaha, exactly what we do when we are together: talk. By the end of the trip we realized that I had flown from Utah to Dallas and then drove Dallas to Utah all under 24 HOURS!!! hahaha, so random and spontaneous but so fun!
The original plan was for me to just stay in Provo once we drove through Utah and Mom would just keep going. But once we got all the way to Utah I realized that if I drove all this way, I wanted to see the end result of putting the furniture in their new apartment! So I ended up doing the rest of the trip with mom! We got to help decorate a little bit and go shopping in Idaho Falls all together which was way fun!
Cutest little frapps they had at Target in Idaho Falls!
After living in our apartment for about 3 months, it hit me that if we are going to live here for 2.5 more years I better make it cute and decorate it a little more hahaha. So I decided to change up the living room a little bit:
This picture just makes me happy:
For our easter present mom got us a marker board, which Colby was very happy about! He loves to be able to write/draw things out while he studies. This was his Thank You picture to Mom:
After we went to Idaho, Mom went with Mary-Catherine and Tanner to California for MC’s Bridal Shower. When she came back she stayed with me for a night. Luckily she was able to be here on Easter Sunday, which I was super happy about! So she helped me make an Easter dinner for Colby, Austin, and Blake. It was delicious.. especially this fruit pizza that we made:
We recently have rediscovered Hang Time and we have been addicted!! We go their with Colby’s brothers all the time! One time when we went, the boys were so excited to get into this dodge ball game. At the very beginning of the game they were all the FIRST to get out and I thought it was so funny, since they were playing with mostly younger kids hahahaha
We were able to go to one of Marie’s soccer games and it was honestly the cutest thing i have ever seen!! Little kids playing soccer is literally the funniest things ever! She looked so cute and would run to come sit with us when it was her turn to sit out! It was also freeeeeezing and we were not expecting that!
At the very end of the month I flew out, before Colby, to Louisiana for Mary-Catherine and Tanner’s wedding!
When I got home I got to meet our newest puppy, Millie! She is so sweet!! Back in December, one of my favorite dogs, Ella, got hit by a car and I was so heart broken. So after some time we got another dog to be Teddy’s companion and she is super sweet!
Lincoln is just the cutest, most spoiled dog ever.
